Hi! I'm Chana Esther "CE" Fogel and I'm the person behind 'the Crafty Engineer.' The Crafty Engineer was born from my love of designing and creating things. It started out as a side-hustle/hobby over 20 years ago, when I would hand paint kippahs and sell them as upsherin gifts. In the beginning of 2019, my husband bought me a Cricut, and I could not get enough of personalizing & creating things for my family, then for friends, and soon enough, as a business. Not longer after, I added a 3D printer to my budding workshop, then another....and another. In 2022 I was fortunate to be able to purchase a CO2 laser, which allows me to work with so many different types of materials. I absolutely love the process of figuring out how to create something from scratch - the more complex, the better! Lighting, soldering, designing - the fun is in process. I am always looking for new ideas to try out, so please - if you have something in mind - just ask - I bet I can figure out how to create it for you!
